The lightest system of its category. Ride fast and light but smoothly and in silence. The PL250 Light has four assist levels (25/50/100/200%) powered by a 250W motor. It has a 35km range which can be extended using the BionX regenerative mode.

Features a unique power delivery and extra long range down tube battery which offers the best distance to cells/weight ratio in a package. The motor weighs 1.2Kg less with the same output as in the other HT motors. It features four assist levels (35/75/150/300%) powered by a 250W rear hub. It has a 105km range which can be extended using the BionX regenerative mode. This system for those who want the best technology available from the BionX range .

A BionX Kit comprises of:
1. Console (measuring trip distance, odometer, current/average speed, clock, back light, battery life) – Powered by main battery, the console features auto assist and regenerative modes, and features a semi-immobilising lock mode. Easy to use and easy to read, the console features a large LCD screen and user friendly operating buttons.
2. Rear wheel and motor - The motor will power the rear wheel forward but also, when braking, transform speed into energy and store it back into the battery. Ride, regenerate and use the stored power to extend ride time.
3. Battery - The BionX Lithium Manganese rechargeable battery is safe, stable, light and extremely compact. A single charge of 3-4 hr can last up to 80km (PL250HT), more when using the regeneration mode. Charging can take less than 3 hours depending on discharge state. The battery has a life of 800 charges.
4. Ancilliaries - Cables, fittings and instruction manual.
The BionX system can be installed on most bicycles by replacing the rear wheel.
The BionX system can be retrofitted on all bicycle models: road, mountain, tandem, folding, recumbent and recumbent trikes counting up to 27 speeds.

Recharge
The BionX system includes a specific charger for each battery that detects and stops charging when the battery is full. At all times you know if the charger is still charging or if the charge is complete.
Li-ion battery charger (2 Amp/h): recharges in approximately 4 hours, wether it is completely uncharged or not.It is also possible to recharge the battery while riding downhill or whilst braking.
Command Console
Power-Assist: Controls the 4 assistance levels. The analog display, indicates the power supplied by the battery.

Generation: Controls the 4 generative settings. The analog display indicates the energy transmitted to the battery.
The console includes a multifunctional odometer that displays the following information: - Current speed,- Tripmeter,- Odometer, - Chronometer,- Average speed,- Time
The control console includes a battery charge indicator that helps you manage the battery charge in order to prevent running out of energy on the return trip.
The console also includes an alarm system with a 4-digit PIN (personal identification number). When the alarm system is activated, two wheel turns are enough to set it off. From that moment, the motor goes into generative mode 4 and the alarm sounds.
